mold is a collective of Croatian dance and visual artists, based across Croatia / Australia.
After graduating with a BA in Contemporary Dance at the Academy of Dramatic Arts, University of Zagreb, Antonia Dorbić, Danijela Renić, Lana Šprajcer and Marta Krešić co-founded a collective of authors and have since been exploring ways of working and making together in various modes and conditions, and often in collaboration with other people and artists.
Their long-term collaborative practice is grounded in the commitment to their friendship, shared personal, performative and choreographic histories and knowledge, and continued by the desire to keep building and re-building dancing worlds together through mediums of performance, installations and/or collective writings.
So far mold’s artistic research and work has been financed by the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media and City of Zagreb as well as supported by Lauba, Gliptoteka, BADco., Gallery Prozori, Centre KNAP, Gallery Miroslava Krleze and Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art among others.

Antonia Dorbić is a visual and dance artist, based in Šibenik, Croatia. Apart from a BA in Contemporary Dance, she graduated with a MA in Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and completed an additional semester at the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen. She is an artistic director and owner of the art studio Obrt where she works and facilitates creative educational programs for the public, artistic residencies and interdisciplinary collaborations. In addition to her collaborative practice with mold, she works and performs for other national and international choreographers, mostly across Croatia and Denmark.
Lana Šprajcer is a dance artist from Zagreb, Croatia, based in Naarm / Melbourne. In addition to dance, she graduated with a BA in Comparative Literature at The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, completed an internship at the interdisciplinary platform TILT in Amsterdam and additional courses: Feminist Theory and Practice and Political School for Artists. Alongside her collaborative practice with mold, Lana collaborates and performs with acclaimed artists and choreographers in both Croatia and Australia. Her writings have been published at plesnascena.hr and danceis.com. She teaches Guided Dance Practice at Lucy Guerin Inc in Naarm.
Marta Krešić is a dance artist based in Zagreb, Croatia. Apart from a BA in Contemporary Dance, she participated in Tanzfabrik Dance Intensive Program in Berlin and completed an internship at the interdisciplinary platform TILT in Amsterdam. Alongside her collaborative practice with mold, she works as a performer and/or choreographer with various artists and arts organizations based in Zagreb. She has been teaching dance and movement for over a decade and facilitates creative educational programs for artists, educators, children and hobbyists. Marta is currently educating in the Body Based Psychotherapy in Zagreb.
Danijela Renić is a mother of two beautiful toddlers, dance artist and teacher, based in Zagreb, Croatia. In addition to dance, she completed her MBA studies at the Zagreb School of Business and Management and Teacher’s Competency Acquisition Program at the Croatian Catholic University. Apart from her engagement with the collective, she collaborates with other Croatian dance artists and choreographers in various modes. Danijela works as a teacher in Contemporary Dance at the Art School Franjo Lučić, where she continues to educate and expand her knowledge and practice in the field of dance, movement and teaching competencies in working with children.
